On July 1, the Turkish Wind Energy Association (TÜREB) and Aksa Elektrik jointly organized the Türkiye Wind Energy Investors Meeting in Istanbul, bringing together key representatives of the wind energy sector.
During the event, a panel moderated by Tamer Çalışır, General Manager & Board Member of GAMA Enerji and Chairman of EÜD, featured smartPulse CEO Önder Akar and Aksa Elektrik Trading Group Manager Birol Henden, who discussed the aggregation model from different perspectives.
In the panel, Birol Henden shared insights on the impact of aggregation from regulations to system operations and the new needs of the sector, while Önder Akar highlighted the critical role of software infrastructure in the aggregation model, as well as the contributions of portfolio size and battery integration to system flexibility.
