The most decisive factor in my decision to continue my career at smartPulse has been the strong team synergy and the company’s visionary goals. As an energy engineer, I have always been interested in algorithmic trading and energy markets throughout my education. Here, I have the opportunity to work in areas that offer both technical depth and high strategic importance, which keeps my professional curiosity constantly engaged. Dynamic market conditions, emerging technologies, and diverse analytical methods enable me to learn something new every day and further develop my expertise. The company’s innovative vision, its people-oriented approach, and the chance to create tangible impact through projects all reinforce my motivation. For all these reasons, building a long-term career at SmartPulse has been both a natural progression and a conscious choice for me.

If I were to describe the working environment at smartPulse, I would say it strikes a perfect balance between genuine camaraderie and professional focus. While a high level of concentration and responsibility is maintained in day-to-day work, there is also a warm and supportive communication culture among colleagues. Interactions between different teams are equally productive and enjoyable, making work processes not only efficient but also engaging. From time to time, we organize team days or work gatherings; whether in the office or in off-site settings that boost motivation and allow us to maintain productivity in a fresh atmosphere. Spending time together after work is also highly valuable, as it helps us get to know each other better, strengthen our bonds, and share experiences beyond the scope of our jobs. We even meet outside working hours; in cities like Istanbul and Izmir, I’ve had the chance to connect, collaborate, and socialize with colleagues from various teams, not just my own. These moments create meaningful experiences that carry professional relationships into genuine friendships and reinforce the team spirit.

After transitioning from an intern to a full-time role at smartPulse, my goals became much clearer and more comprehensive. The company culture is built on open communication and collaboration rather than hierarchy, which allows me to easily connect and work with colleagues from any department and at any level. This environment has enabled me to grow on a global scale within the energy sector, while also giving me the chance to explore different areas where I can discover and develop myself beyond my core re sponsibilities. With the support of my manager and the entire team, I was able to quickly adapt to both the sector and the department, despite it being my first experience in this field. Now, I approach my career from a more holistic perspective, looking beyond simply completing assigned tasks to finding ways I can create meaningful value.

I owe my smooth transition to a full-time position to the highly productive internship period I had and the development opportunities I found during that time. As an intern in the Connectivity team, I was entrusted with direct responsibility in active projects, which virtually eliminated any adaptation challenges when I stepped into my new role. With the support and contributions of my teammates, I not only enhanced my technical skills but also became an integral part of the company culture. Continuing my career at smartPulse in a full-time capacity holds great meaning for me, as it allowed me to step into the renewable energy sector; something I had long aimed for through a software company that delivers innovative solutions to businesses in this field. Starting my career at an industry-leading company has not only given me confidence but has also elevated my motivation to the highest level in achieving my goals.

There were several moments during my internship when I thought, “I’m glad to be here.” But what has impacted me the most and still makes me feel this way is the genuine, respectful, and helpful attitude people have toward each other at smartPulse. Communication here is easy and natural, which makes working together both enjoyable and productive. Everyone strives to contribute to the company’s overall success, and idea exchanges are always rich and engaging. People don’t just do their jobs because it’s “work”; they do it because they truly believe in it and enjoy it. This made me feel like a real part of the team and kept me motivated.

During my time at smartPulse, I’ve had the opportunity to work on projects targeting the energy markets of different countries. Developing technologies tailored to each market’s unique dynamics has broadened my technical perspective and expanded my industry knowledge. This experience has enriched me not only in software development but also in understanding the inner workings of energy markets more deeply. In the future, I aim to contribute to projects where a country’s energy technologies are built from the ground up, ideally collaborating with international teams to actively use my language skills and contribute to the strategic side of the work. Within this scope, one of my main goals is to take on a role where I assume technical responsibilities while helping shape the technological vision of the product.
